Peter Sellers

Nació el 8 de septiembre de 1925 en Southsea (Inglaterra).
Nominado al Oscar como mejor actor por "Dr. Insólito o: Cómo aprendí a dejar de preocuparme y amar la bomba" [Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb] (1964) y "Desde el jardín" [Being There] (1979), como productor estuvo nominado por el a mejor cortometraje "The Running Jumping & Standing Still Film" (1960, junto con Richard Lester) (también lo codirigió, coescribió y actuó). Actuó en "El quinteto de la muerte" [The Ladykillers] (1955), "El rugido del ratón" [The Mouse That Roared] (1959), "Estás bien, Jack" [I'm All Right Jack] (1959), "Juego para dos" [Only Two Can Play] (1962), "El mayor mujeriego" [Waltz of the Toreadors] (1962), "Lolita" (1962), "La pantera rosa" [The Pink Panther] (1963), "¿Qué hay de nuevo, Pussycats?" [What's New Pussycat] (1965), "La fiesta inolvidable" [The Party] (1968), "Te quiero Alice B. Toklas" [I Love You, Alice B. Toklas!] (1968), "El regreso de la pantera rosa" [The Return of the Pink Panther] (1975), "La pantera rosa ataca de nuevo" [The Pink Panther Strikes Again] (1976) y "La venganza de la pantera rosa" [Revenge of the Pink Panther] (1978).
Falleció el 24 de julio de 1980.
