George Roy Hill

Nació el 20 de diciembre de 1921 en Minneapolis (Minnesota, Estados Unidos).
Ganó el Oscar a mejor director por "El golpe" [The Sting] (1973); fue nominado por "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" (1969). Dirigió "Pasiones en conflicto" [Toys in the Attic] (1963), "El irresistible Henry Orient" [The World of Henry Orient] (1964), "Matadero cinco" [Slaughterhouse-Five] (1972) y "Todo vale" [Slap Shot] (1977).
Falleció el 27 de diciembre de 2002.
